Celebrating LARK’s 5th anniversary
In this whole-day seminar experienced practice-based and academic researchers will take participants on a journey to a deeper understanding of applied research. In the first half of the day, we will consider the current landscape of applied research in library and information studies, learn from experiences in other professional fields and consider some examples of successful practice-based research projects. The second half of the day will be a workshop dedicated to putting research ideas into practice. We will finish the day by discussing communication of research from Twitter to peer-reviewed journal article.
This seminar will be presented by experienced academics and professionals. The workshop part of the seminar will be presented by Fiona Salisbury, and doctors Suzana Sukovic, Mary Anne Kennan and Bhuva Narayan.
